Have Some Laughs with the Upright Citizens Brigade

ucb.gifThe best improvisors in the country, who create jaw-droppingly hilarious comedy on the spot, are bringing their antics to Sonoma State University. Join the Upright Citizens Brigade on Tuesday, April 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the Cooperage.

These performers are the "next wave" of comedy superstars from the theater that produced hit comedians Amy Poehler, Horatio Sanz, Rob Cordry, Ed Helms, and many more. Sonoma State's very own Improvaholics will open the show with their own skit.

Tickets are free to SSU students and employees. General admission is $10 at the door.

The Upright Citizens Brigade is also presenting a two-hour improv comedy workshop before the show, which is free to all SSU students. Students will have the opportunity to act with and learn from members of the Brigade, and gain first-hand experience at professional improv comedy. The workshop takes place from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. in Ives 76.

The evening is sponsored by Associated Students Productions in collaboration with the Improvaholics. For more information, call (707) 664-2382 or email as.pr@sonoma.edu.
