Important Information Regarding Fall 2011 Registration

important.gifSSU Students: The Fall 2011 registration process now includes the opportunity to waitlist for classes! Student waitlist is available starting with your Pass 2A registration appointment.

Departments that have opted-in to the waitlist functionality will have waitlist for all classes. Students may waitlist for up to 12 units of classes that are closed and have the waitlist function. Please review the Frequently Asked Questions to learn how using waitlists can improve your chances of getting a seat in closed classes.

Who is using waitlist?

All departments in the schools of Science and Technology, Social Sciences, and Business and Economics; Departments of Art and Art History, AMCS, CALS, Communications, English, Music, Theater Arts and Spanish.

What is a waitlist?

If a class is full, a student can request to be placed on a waitlist to enroll in the class if a seat becomes available. When a student is added to the waitlist, they are assigned the next available position number. Students are automatically enrolled into the class based on waitlist position when seats become available.

Your MySSU Class Schedule shows you which classes you are waitlisted for and your waitlist position. The waitlist process runs once each day after 11:30 p.m. and will send any students enrolled from the waitlist an email to their Seawolf email account.
