During this one-week trip, students will participate in a cultural exchange with the Snowbird Cherokee Nation, and volunteer at both the Senior Citizen Center and the Child Development Center. JUMP members will also travel to various forests, including the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Cherokee National Forest, to participate in stewardship projects.
The main focus of the trip is to preserve the "incredibly rich environment through service-learning projects."
JUMP is a community service organization that is a part of Associated Students, Incorporated (ASI). It provides students of all backgrounds the opportunity to provide service on-campus, locally, statewide, and nationally while developing leadership skills.
