Important Information About Student Assistants

studentassistant.pngThis is a reminder that all Student Assistant appointments automatically terminate May 31, 2011. To be eligible to work summer, students must be registered for Fall Semester classes and have attended the prior Spring Semester. Extended Education classes do not apply toward Student Assistant employment eligibility.

Student Assistants must attach a self-addressed stamped envelope to their May voucher if they would like their pay check mailed on June 15th. Any Student Assistants not working during the summer should mark "final" on May vouchers.


A sign-up orientation is required prior to beginning work for new Student Assistants or returning Student Assistants who have not worked at Sonoma State University within the past three years. The sign-up schedule for May and June is posted at www.sonoma.edu/es/student_assistants/sa_signup.html.
