Seawolf Summer Sports Camps Open For Registration

seawolf.jpgAs another successful 2010-11 school year comes to a close and the summer sun heats up Sonoma County, the fun on the campus of Sonoma State University continues.

The athletics department is ready to kick the 2011 Sonoma State Youth Summer Sports Camp into high gear, with plenty of opportunities for children of all ages to join the fun, up-close and personal with some of the nation's best collegiate coaches and student-athletes.

The Seawolves are excited to welcome children of all ages into a fun, exciting and dynamic environment while helping to improve their skills, sportsmanship and abilities to work as a team.

Sonoma State enjoyed a very successful season in 2010-11 with two conference championships, a regional championship and numerous other postseason appearances. The Seawolves also saw individual student-athletes excel in their respective sports, bringing home several All-America honors, as well as a plethora of individual postseason awards.

These student-athletes are a direct reflection of the coaching staff at Sonoma State, who have won several national championships, received National and Regional Coach of the Year honors and conference recognition, not to mention, the Seawolves have one Olympic Silver Medalist on staff.

Sign-ups are available for many youth sports camps offered at Sonoma State this summer, including basketball, baseball, soccer, softball, volleyball and swim camps. Don't let your kids miss out on the summer fun and give them something to talk about for the rest of their lives. Plenty of spots are still available.
