Romesburg Discusses California's FAIR Act on NPR

dromesburg.jpgDon Romesburg (right), assistant professor of women's and gender studies and advisor to the queer studies minor, was interviewed on NPR's afternoon news feature program, "Tell Me More" by host Michel Martin. The two discussed the recent passage of the FAIR Act in California, which brings LGBT people and issues into K-12 public school social science and history curricula. Romesburg has also recently participated in volunteer consulting with the Gay-Straight Alliance Network, helping them come up with examples of people and events that could be included in their programming. Elaine Leeder, dean of the School of Social Sciences says of Romesburg, "You make us proud."
