Staff Development Workshops Resume with Tai Chi

New 10-Week Session for the Fall Semester

taichi.JPGMaggie Mackey kicked off the fall semester on Friday, Aug. 19 with the return of her popular Taiji classes. Nine sessions remain, taking place weekly in Ives 80 until November. Newcomers, drop-ins and all levels are welcome (no reservations are required).

Series Class Dates: August 19 & 26; September 2, 9 & 30; October 7, 14, 21 & 28; and November 4.

Get an introduction to the basic principles of Taiji (Tai Chi Chuan), a traditional Chinese art known to develop strength, balance and flexibility. These exercises are performed in a gentle, flowing sequence of relaxed movements. Beneficial effects include relaxation, stress reduction, increased blood circulation and rejuvenation.
