community.jpgAmanda Burke, the Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) Community Affairs Senator is tasked with connecting SSU to the communities of Rohnert Park and Cotati. Through this position, she will be attending city council meetings and working hard to build a positive image of the University within our local communities. Burke is creating a Community Affairs Council, and is seeking interested students who would like to help in efforts to build these strong relationships.

The group will meet once a month, with the introductory meeting taking place Monday, Sept. 26 at 1 p.m. in the Student Union's Erin Fisher Room. Also attending this meeting will be Susan Kashack, Associate Vice President for Marketing and Communications, who will be available to answer questions anyone may have about the University Affairs Division of the University.

Those who are interested in providing ASI with ideas on how to build these relationships, or simply want to check out the Community Affairs Council, are strongly encouraged to attend the meeting.
