Moodle Training Sessions Available

mm.pngMoodle is SSU's Learning Management System (LMS), and the place where faculty can post course syllabi, host class discussions, post assignment details, and link to a variety of instructional materials. Information Technology and the University Library have partnered to provide a variety of Moodle training opportunities for SSU faculty. The following training courses are available:

Moodle Basics
Basic instruction using Moodle.
Tuesday, Dec. 13, 10 - 11:30 a.m.

Understanding the Gradebook
Tips for easier use of Moodle's grades tool.
Tuesday, Nov. 8, noon - 1:15 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 2, 10 - 11:15 a.m.

Communicating in Moodle
How to use Forums and Messages for effective communication with students without impacting your email inbox.
Wednesday, Nov. 16, noon - 1:00 p.m.

Gradebook Consultation
End of semester, hands-on assistance with organizing the gradebook and getting grades to calculate correctly.
Thursday, Dec. 8, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 9, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

All of the training sessions meet in the Faculty Center, Schulz 1125, first floor of the library.
