Professor of Communications Ed Beebout presented a talk entitled "News in a New Age: Can Mainstream Media Survive the Internet?" this week. Beebout is completing work on a documentary about new and information in the digital age, in which he interviews Bay Area news and Internet professionals about how evolving technology is impacting the content and flow of information to the public. The subject matter of the talk stems from his research. The talk was part of the Arts & Humanities Research and Creative Works Fall 2011 forum.
