Professor Michael Ezra of the American Multicultural Studies Department has completed his third book project, a collection of essays published by Routledge called The Economic Civil Rights Movement: African Americans and the Struggle for Economic Power. This book builds upon Ezra's previous work on the economic aspects of the civil rights era, including the 2009 booksMuhammad Ali: The Making of an Icon (Temple University Press) and Civil Rights Movement: People and Perspectives (ABC-Clio). Ezra's next book is going to be an exploration of current race relations and how they can be improved.
