Research grants are available to members and non-members!
Financial and professional support is available to nurses
and nursing students who are studying or researching nursing
care issues. Research grants of $200 are available to students
and grants up to $1500 are available to RN's, whether you're
a member or not.
Sigma Theta Tau Lambda Gamma Chapter is offering scholarships for nurses seeking higher education. There are scholarships for individuals completing their bachelors degree ($500), masters ($750) and Doctoral ($2500) who demonstrate leadership who have an expressed interest in nursing. Please submit application if you are interested.

Your contribution
helps make our programs and services stronger for those who need our help. Here
are some ways in which you can contribute your donations:
1) Scholarships: support Lambda Gammas efforts to address
the nursing shortage by awarding a $ 500 scholarship at the Bachelors level
for outstanding leadership, at the Masters ( $ 750) and doctoral level for
an expressed interest in nursing education ( $2500)
2) Dinner meetings: the chapter regularly offers a reduced
price for nursing students to attend our dinner meetings thus incurring a
loss for each meeting; we value the student participation and want to continue
offering reduced prices to all nursing students.
3) Research awards: Lambda Gamma regularly offers research
awards to nurses in our community , these awards range from $200 for students
doing research projects to $1500 to nurses in our community.
4) Unspecified donation: you may leave your donation unspecified
and Lambda Gamma will include these gifts in our annual budget and determine
the best use for these funds ( over the years we have supported a variety
of concerns such as student leader efforts with homeless woman, scholarships
to send members for leadership training and research development in our community)
