| Research Seminar |
Rae Rehn gave a summary of the very successful Evidence Based Practice Seminar. Of the 31 nurses in attendance 18 were STT. All the participants gave presenters very high marks and grateful praise for their skills at presenting their topics. Also gave helpful comments on future EBP seminars. After negotiating a distribution of profit w/ NBHCN, STT received $400. |

| Financial Report |
The Financial Report was given by Geri. Audit is due. Geri researched the cost. A CPA in SR will charge $600 to review the books and an audit will cost $1,000. STT will accept a review. Geri will ask her cousin to do it. Need to pick up the statements at SSU. Geri is still receiving statements. Melissa will file paperwork w/ the banks, meet w/ Geri to go over bookkeeping and put together a budget for the next mtg. Melissa will have to purchase Quicken 2005. Melissa will reimburse SSU for envelopes from EBP, via Sandra. |
Approved. A review will be conducted. Accounts will be changed to Melissa's attention. |
| Board Membership |
KC Grigsby thanked the members of the outgoing Board for their service and inducted Melissa Hall as Treasurer and Lisa Burns as President-Elect to the new Board. Still need to fill Recording Secretary, Undergraduate Rep for 2005-2006. It was suggested that Deb pick up and distribute the SSU mail and Sandra will ask her about it. |

| Newsletter |
Deadline for articles is Sept 8 th, Becky requested Sept 6 th. Mary Lou will contact Alanna and get the flyer template and send it to Patricia to change. Kathleen will write about the '05 Induction ceremony, Sandra will submit the awards requirement form, Rae will summarize the EBP seminar, and KC will send the calendar of events and list of Board members. Four hundred copies will be printed. It was thought that Becky would do this but she cannot. Becky will put the newsletter together for printing. The next Board Mtg will be the mailing party. |
