Database Interconnectivity
The two components (MS Access database and the ESRI GIS geodatabase) are interconnected through their respective applications. A user can select Resouce Site and Study Report features in the either the Access or ArcMap applications and then "toggle" to the other application as needed.
Products
For a research project area, the NWIC GIS produces clearly defined maps of resource site and study report features with their corresponding records and reports in digital pdf file format.
CURRENT GIS INVENTORY includes all Resources and Reports for Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco and Solano County.
