What I Do at SSU
Susan presently serves on the vocal faculty at Sonoma State University, and is Professor Emerita of Voice and Opera, California State University, East Bay and maintains a private studio in Santa Rosa, CA.
My Bio
Susan Witt-Butler balances two careers in music: performing and teaching. Her performance experience includes the San Francisco Opera Chorus, San Francisco Spring Opera, Banff Festival of the Arts, and Opera Barga, Barga, Italy. She has performed as soprano soloist with the San Francisco Ballet, Oakland Symphony Chorus, Pacific Mozart Ensemble, and presently with Castles and Concerts, a touring company. She has recorded works of 21st century composer Frank LaRocca, as well as with the Pennsylvania Pro Musica and Lucasfilm.
