What I Do at SSU
I am the Administrative Coordinator in the Music Department. I work closely with the Department Chair of Music, the Artistic Director of Center for Performing and the Executive Director of the Green Music Center and Center for Performing Arts. I manage all department scheduling, budgets and everything you can think of that happens in a performing arts office.
My Bio
I have been working in the Music Department for 25 years. I have worked on the SSU campus off and on since 1974. My jobs on campus were in the departments of Purchasing, Academic Foundation, Assistant to the Dean of Admissions and Records, Office Manager for the Associated Students and now Administrative Coordinator in the Music Department. It’s a challenging and rewarding job. I have taught business classes in a high school setting as well as adult education. I have been practicing Jin Shin Jyutsu (a therapeutic art that deals with relaxation and harmony) for over 20 years. I was honored in 2003-04 with the Staff Excellence Award. Sonoma State has been my home for many years and I enjoy working with all the wonderful people, friends and co-workers I have made over all these years
I enjoy the outdoors – you can always see me walking around campus during my lunch hour. I love music, travel, and gardening.
