What I Do at SSU

I instruct all levels and styles of dance technique, including contemporary, jazz, hip-hop and fundamentals. I teach dance history with an emphasis on 20th century dance and its socio-political context. Each Fall semester I direct SSU's Dance Ensemble concert, consisting of dances generated and performed by students. I often choreograph for drama and musical theater productions, as well as make original work every year on SSU students for the Spring Dance concert. I continue to perform in the area and always look forward to collaborations with my colleagues.
