Preserve Tours
Community members and university classes are encouraged to participate in guided tours of the Preserves:
- University Classes
- Please indicate in your application that you are interested in a tour.
- Public Tours
- The Fairfield Osborn Preserve is open for public guided tours on Saturdays during the Fall and Spring seasons. Please view the events calendar for the current season's tour dates. Trained naturalists lead visitors into the heart of the Preserve, sharing facts and stories about the area's geology, ecology, human history, and on-going research and management.
- To participate in a public tour, you do not need to pre-register. Arrive at the Fairfield Osborn Preserve at 10:00 am. The tour will last approximately 4 hours. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring food, water, and sunscreen or rain gear (depending on the weather). All local community members and visitors are welcome to attend. The cost is $3 per participant, payable by cash or check.
