Welcome Researchers
The SSU Preserves are available to researchers of all affiliations and backgrounds - whether students, private individuals, faculty or other professionals.
Initial scoping of a research project requires first-hand exploration of a Preserve. Please contact us to arrange for a visit to scope out research opportunities.
We encourage data sharing to build a body of information that will engender new studies at our sites. Preserve projects, usually undertaken in collaboration with faculty and students, are described (metadata) and data served on this website.
While you are working at our Preserves, we encourage you to interact with students, researchers, and managers. If you are interested in fulfilling education or outreach requirements for your grants, contact us. We have many education programs that could incorporate your research results.
