Welcome Students
The SSU Preserves are for all students from schools across campus. While the Preserves are protected areas of natural beauty, they are also real-world challenges in sustainability, administration, business, advertising and communication. We involve students in all aspects of Preserve management, providing you with real-world experiences in your area of interest while you accrue class credit, salary, internship or special studies units, or community service hours.
Everyone engaged in educational or research activities is welcome. (Recreational visits are not compatible with the SSU Preserves’ mission.). You can work on your own (independent research, tours, work parties) or come as part of internship trainings or coursework.
Not sure how, but want to get involved? Contact us!
