Ian Aragon: Born January 28, 1986, before Jordan and after Liz. Listens to Hip-Hop, Alternative Rock, Progressive Rock, and more, namely dredg, Tool, Atmosphere, Aesop Rock, etc. May be found writing, tutoring, playing guitar, playing pool, eating, sleeping, or recording and producing.

Jason Barlow: Senior Tutor and graduate student in English. Overtones of candor and sarcasm combine with subtle hints of sweetness and tenacity for a smooth, dry humored finish.

Jeannine Scott: I arrived at SSU in 2001 with the goal of completing my undergraduate degree after 30 some odd years (BA in double majors of English and Psychology). Now i'm a graduate student in English. When I have the time, I enjoy attending the cinema (the Rialto is a fav) and have a fondness for foreign flicks, independent films, and all quality films in various genres, including documentaries and film noir. In literature, I'm drawn most to the 19th and 20th centuries and contemporary works of fiction, especially American, British Isles and World Lit (post-colonial). I'm very eclectic in my musical preferences, but my passions are jazz, especially the piano and the saxophone, and the classical ragas of India.

Jennifer Aaseth: I received my B.A. in English literature here at SSU and I am currently pursuing my master's degree (also in English literature). In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going to concerts, traveling, watching movies, and reading trashy celebrity magazines.

Jennifer Quinlan: Graduate student in Interdisciplinary studies with a focus on the 19th century.

Jesse Perry (known aliases: Ralph the Wonder Llama, Comic Book Guy): Tests reveal subject is highly intelligent, but hides it well behind a facade of malaprops and farting jokes. Consider extremely dangerous when seated at a computer. Watch for flying shards of illusion. Also skilled in archery with high marks in bubble bursting. Suggest that subject be forcibly fed mainstream political dogma until acceptable level of idiocy enters bloodstream. Considered cynical and extremely dangerous!

Jessica Osborne: Pink is my favorite color, and I'm a total valley girl - Totally!! I love show tunes and scrapbooking! I adore APA citation format, and I'm great at paper organization. I have to admit, I'm a mild grammar nazi.

Johanna Prucha McCarthy: Bio coming soon!

Katie LeBeau: I'm a senior English major and an SSU volleyball player. I always have gum, I'll tell you where the party is this weekend, and I'm not smarter than you . . . just good at writing papers.

Koreen Culbert: Bio coming soon!

Laura Quidato: This is my fourth and last year as an English major here at SSU; I'm working toward a teaching credential to teach high school. I love dancing, camping, attempting to ride the mountain bike, hiking, walking my dog Patti, attempting to cook, arts and crafts, and having a good laugh.

Lily Rex Comess: Bio coming soon!

Maitreya Salvado da Rocha (known alias: El Guapo): 2005/06 Assistant Director. El Guapo: Would you say I have a plethora of pinatas? Jefe: Yes, El Guapo. You have a plethora. El Guapo: Jefe, what is a plethora? Jefe: Why, El Guapo? El Guapo: Well, I would just like to know if you know what a plethora is because you believe I have a plethora. Jefe: Sorry El Guapo. I, Jefe, do not have your superior intellect or education. Could it be you are angry about something and are looking to take it out on me?

Mallory Craig: I'm a junior majoring in Psychology and English (concentration in creative writing). I enjoy reading and writing, soccer, horseback riding, scuba diving, hanging out with family and friends, and just having tons of fun!

Mara Barbee: A graduate student and Senior Tutor, into creative writing and equally creative drawing. Also a 5-year veteran of the Writing Center.

Morgan Rosskopf: I am a sophomore and an art major with an emphasis in painting. I do not know what I want to be when I grow up, but at least I can write. Peace.

Sage Fifield: I'm a senior in the English Department, and I'm actively entertaining the idea of one day being a high-school English teacher. I'm interested in dreams--the ones people have at night mostly. But daydreams are cool too. Speaking of daydreams, I recently got a small sailboat, although I don't know the first thing about sailing. If you see me around, wish me luck and call me Captain (you know, to build my confidence), and if I'm gone missing for more than a week, assume the worst.

Scott Miller: Le Directeur! In addition to directing the Writing Center and teaching courses in rhetoric, the teaching of writing, and writing itself, I do lots of other things to make time live (rather than kill it): play guitar, paint with watercolors, be in nature, and read and write.

Sophia Rodriguez: is... from the Midwest, in love with the city of Chicago for its biting wind and below-freezing temps, obsessed with the cuteness of puppies (especially my dog, Samson), and a grad student in the English department.

Zack Read: Bio coming soon!
