Science, Policy & Ethics of Global Climate Change: Opening Lecture

Donald W. Aitken, Ph.D., is Senior Consulting Scientist for the Union of Concerned Scientists and a founder of the U.S.D.O.E’s Western Regional Solar Energy Center. Dr. Aitken is a consultant, lecturer, and architectual and engineering workshop leader.

Daniel Kammen, Ph.D., is founding Director of the Renewable and Appropriate Energy Laboratory and Professor in the Energy and Resources Group and the Goldman School of Public Policy at UC Berkeley. His international work on renewable energy technologies focuses on clean energy options.

Paul Baer, is co-founder of EcoEquity and researches climate change science and policy with the Energy and Resources Group at UC Berkeley. He is co-author of Dead Heat: Global Justice and Global Warming.
