  1. Creativity and Beyond - Rob Weiner does performances and workshops on Leonardo DaVinci - a good resource for teachers.
  2. History's Happening! - A comprehensive list of "kid-safe" history links.
  3. This Month in History Calendar - From the Constitutional Rights Foundation.
  4. NetState.com - State symbols, maps, history, government, etc.
  5. Marco Polo - Provides high quality standards-based Internet content and professional development for K-12 teachers and students. Excellent Search Feature.
  6. Mr. Sabato' Portal - Thousands of links for students, parents, and teachers put together by George Sabato, a middle school teacher at Edwin Markham Middle School in Placerville, California.
  7. WebQuests - This site is designed to serve as a resource to those who are using the WebQuest model to teach with students on the web. It has excellent examples and materials made by teachers who use WebQuests with their students. The WebQuests concept was developed at San Diego State University by Bernie Dodge and Tom March.
  8. History Maps - This is part of the "Best of History Website." and an excellent links list for maps.
  9. Awesome Library - organizes the Web with 20,000 carefully reviewed resources, including the top 5 percent in education.

  11. Free Resources for Educational Excellence - Free teaching resources and lessons from the U.S. Government and Federal Agencies.
