A list of study programs for teachers around the country.

  1. Gilder Lehrman Institute - The Institute has announced there are forty seminars available for K-12 teachers on the 2009 Summer Seminar schedule. Teachers get room and board and a stipend as well as a chance to participate in these great seminars.

  2. Colonial Williamsburg Teacher Institutes 2009 - Designed for elementary and middle/high school social studies teachers who teach United States history and government, these intensive week-long workshops will immerse participants in early American history "on location" in Williamsburg, the restored capital city of eighteenth-century Virginia, and nearby Jamestown and Yorktown. Twenty-five teachers and a returning mentor teacher will be selected for each session.
  3. Landmarks of American History and Culture - The Landmarks of American History and Culture Workshops for School teachers is part of the National Endowment for the Humanities "We the People" program. The list of 2009 NEH Landmarks of American History and Culture Workshops for School Teachers will be available in late October 2008
  4. Transatlantic Outreach Program - The Transatlantic Outreach Program (TOP) offers teaching materials, workshops, and all-expense-paid study tours to Germany. Sponsored by the Global Exploration for Educators Organization and the Goethe Institute.
