Subject: Storm Warning

UPDATE: The 24-hour computer lab in Schulz Information Center will be closed until Monday, December 3.

A serious storm will continue to bring heavy rain and winds to Rohnert Park over the next three days. Flooding on and off campus is possible. At this time, the University is open and operating as normal. This page will be updated throughout the weekend should conditions change.

There is the possiblity of localized flooding on campus. If you are parking on campus this weekend, avoid parking on or near storm drains or on or directly adjacent to landscaping. Residents should regularly check thier vehicle during times of heavy rain. Observe all road closures and traffic control devices.

Power outages throughout the area are possible. Be prepared with working flashlights, non-perishable food, water and other supplies in the event you are without power for an extended period of time.

Police & Parking Services and Facilities Services will be closely monitoring campus conditions throughout the weekend. If you find flooding or other storm-related damage, notify Police Services at (707) 664-4444 or, if the hazard presents a serious emergency, 9-1-1.
