Parking Lot D Closure Parking Information

Parking Lot Closure FAQ (revised 11/22/2011)

From December 5, 2011 through approximately January 2014, parking Lot D (reserved) will be closed due to construction of the Student Center. Parking Lot C and the western portion of parking lot D are expected to reopen sometime in January 2012.

During that time, the entry and exit to lots C and D will be moved to the west side of D Lot (across from Verdot Village) and Lot C will be modified to allow for continued access to disabled parking, emergency vehicle and delivery access for the Recreation Center and Darwin Hall.

We understand this will affect how and where some faculty, staff and students are able to park. The information below is intended to provide information regarding reserved parking permits and privileges, refunds, disabled access and other parking options during the lot closure.

Reserved Permit Holders

I purchased a reserved permit so I could park in Lot D. Are there other reserved parking options that I could use during the closure of D Lot?

I am not interested in parking in reserved lots other than D lot and would like to downgrade my permit to a General permit.

I am an employee on payroll deduction for my parking permit. Am I entitled to a refund? Can I downgrade to a general permit?

Disabled Parking in C Lot

Disabled parking in parking lot C will be unavailable beginning December 5 while the entrance to Parking Lots D and C is moved to the west side of the lot (across from Verdot Village). We anticipate that C Lot will reopen within 6-8 weeks. Disabled parking is available in the other parking areas surrounding buildings. Disabled parking is first come, first served. If you are have specific questions regarding accessibility or need additional accommodation, please contact Disability Services for Students at (707) 664-2677 or Employee Relations and Compliance at (707) 664-2664 to inquire about other options.

The information below is intended to assist disabled drivers in locating alternate disabled parking near specific buildings on campus.
