Alumni Survey

We conducted our first alumni survey in December 2008 / February 2009. The initial pool of 80 persons included all those from the classes of 2001 (the first graduating class) to 2008 who completed 2 years of course work. We had current contact information for 74 of these persons, who were contacted by email for the online 63-item survey. 37 persons (50%) responded to the survey.

For meaningful curricular comparisons, responses were grouped into two categories: recent, classes of 2005 to 2008; and early, classes of 2001 to 2004. The graduation rate (all those who graduated and received the Master's degree after completing two years of coursework plus the Master's thesis) from 2001 to 2008 was 78% as of fall of 2008, the time of the survey.
