Internship Description

Job Title: Program Assistant/Intern

Compensation: paid
Amount/Type: $12-15 based on education and experience. Clinical supervision with Executive Director and Consulting Behavioral Psychologist, excellent experience, paid ongoing training
Internship Length: 2 semesters
Hours Per Week: 10-15

Population: Adolescents, Children ages 2-17, Families
Focus: Autism, Crisis Intervention, Education, Mental Health,
Setting: Community Agency, School, Family Homes

Duties: Behavior Assistants provide immediate behavioral and instructional support to individual and small groups of children in home, school and community settings. Participate in the daily implementation of intervention plans for children diagnosed with developmental, learning, or psychiatric conditions

Qualifications: Minimum 3rd year undergraduate majoring in Psychology, Education, or Human Development. 1 year experience working with children required, (special needs preferred).
