Internship Description
Job Title: Child Care Assistant
Compensation: Unpaid
Internship Length: 1 Semester
Hours Per Week: maximum 10 (3:30pm-6pm; days flexible)

Duties: Assist young boy with ADHD/Bipolar with after-school activities.
Qualifications: Experience working with children with special needs, especially mental illness; ability to be clear and firm in directions and follow through; athletic preferred; have own transportation & ability to drive to activities.
Additional Information: My son is ADHD/Bipolar. He is very athletic, has high energy, great verbal skills, & is sociable, but needs lots of re-direction (has difficult time staying on task & completing activities). He attends an ANOVA school and is a high-functioning child. I could use help with him on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00 to 5:00.
