Job Title: In home care of 3 year old with PDD/NOS diagnosis and hearing loss
Compensation: TBD, depending on experience

Duties: Located in Napa, CA. In home nanny care for a 3 year old on a part-time basis. Your primary responsibility would be to play with him and, if possible, use some of your training to work with him during this time. Light meal preparation and diaper changes, as he is not toilet trained yet. No housework or laundry is expected. Potential transport to therapy sessions within Napa.
Qualifications: Kind loving person who enjoys children and is not afraid to get down on the floor and play. Interest or training in special education. Sign language helpful, but not neccesary, if you are willing to learn a few phrases. Driver's liscence with your own transportation. CPR training is plus. Flexibility with hours and availability to work a few evenings. The exact days and times for this position are still to be determined and we will try to work around your schedule. The likely schedule is afternoons after 1pm and some weekends.
Additional Information: He has been diagnosed with PDD/NOS and sensory processing issues and is developmentally delayed (Approximately 18 months delayed). In addition, he wears a hearing aid in one ear and has a cochlear implant in the other. These require minimal care, but you must be comfortable with removing/placing a hearing aid.
