Required Internship Information Meetings
All students intending to take PSY 499, Psychology Internship, are required to attend an Informational Meeting prior to their first semester of registration for the course. Do not register on-line!
Information Meetings for a Fall 2012 internship:
Attend one of these required information meetings:
• Thur Jan 17 12-12.50 pm Stevenson 3095• Fri Jan 25 9-9.50 am Stevenson 3077
• Wed Jan 30 5-5.40 pm Stevenson 3079
If you have previously completed a PSY 499 internship, you need not attend this meeting.
At the meeting you will learn:
- How to get a placement
- What's required
- What you must do before you register
At the meeting you will receive:
- What to Do Checklist
- Internship Agreement (Contract)
- Internship Syllabus
The syllabus is available on-line. Check the links at the left.
At this meeting you will sign up for one of the following Supervision Series (A set of 3 REQUIRED once-a-month meetings); Please submit first choice and second choice to Dr. Lorna Catford. If you miss a Supervision meeting, you MUST attend the Make-Up Meeting to receive credit for the class!!!

MAKE-UP Meeting: If you miss a meeting, you MUST come to the Make-Up meeting, Wednesday April 24, 4:45-5:55, Stev. TBA, if you want credit for your internship.
It's your responsibility to tell Dr. Lorna Catford as soon as possible your 1st and 2nd choice of Supervision Series (A, B or C).
If you can't come to the opening information meeting, have a friend take notes, get paperwork, & sign in for you.
If you have already attended an Information Meeting, you need not attend a second one. Just submit paper work and let Dr. Lorna Catford know which Supervision Group Series fits your schedule.
