Find Help For Finishing Those Writing Projects

Do you have scholarly work sitting in your computer that needs to reach your discipline? Do you have conference papers to revise, articles to write, or chapters to draft? Join the Faculty Writing Program this semester and get help with finishing those writing projects. The seminars are on different days to accommodate diverse faculty schedules.

The program consists of three separate on-going seminars that meet every other week to discuss members' scholarly writings in progress. The seminar experience is collegial and non-competitive and provides a safe environment to explore ideas and to receive thoughtful feedback on early work. Occasional sessions are open to all writing program members on topics such as writing book proposals, managing time and overcoming writing blocks.

New tenure-track faculty members receive first priority, but all faculty are welcome to participate. You are welcome to join a seminar group that has already begun. Contact Kathy Charmaz at 4-3955 or charmaz@sonoma.edu.

The seminar schedule is:
Wednesday: 4-6 p.m. on 1/30, 2/13, 2/27, 3/12, 4/9, 4/23, 5/7
Thursday: 10 a.m.-noon on 2/7, 2/21, 3/6, 3/20, 4/3, 4/17, 5/1, 5/15
