Bike Lock Give Away Next Week
During the week of April 14-18, the first 100 returning students, faculty and staff who come to register a bicycle with Police Services will receive a free U-lock. Representatives from Police Services will be available to register bicycles and provide free bike locks (while supply lasts) during the following times:
Monday: Noon-1 p.m. and 3-4 p.m., Police Services
Tuesday: 9-10 a.m. and 3-4 p.m., Police Services
and noon-2 p.m., Recreation Center
Wednesday: Noon-1 p.m. and 3-4 p.m., Police Services
Thursday: 9-10 a.m. and 3-4 p.m., Police Services
and noon-2 p.m., Recreation Center
Friday: Noon-1 p.m. and 3-4 p.m., Police Services

Introduction to Photoshop Elements
Tim Hensel and Christine Hayes of the University Library are offering a training session on "Introduction to Photoshop Elements" from 1-3 p.m. on Thursday, April 17 in the Digital Lab located in the Learning and Teaching Center on the 2nd floor of the Library. This workshop covers the basics of Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 as a tool for editing images and making images that are ready for the web or print. Request for Catastrophic Leave Donations
We have received a request from a University employee, Andre Bailey, who has been determined eligible to receive donated sick and/or vacation leave credits due to a recent catastrophic illness/injury. Stafflink-L is a listserv for SSU employees that was created to enhance communication among staff from all over campus. The forum strives to will help staff and faculty get to know people from outside each of their specific areas and promote a unified feeling among the staff on campus. Appropriate postings for this list include: general questions about campus or campus events, activities, etc.; soliciting solutions to problems encountered on the job, rumor control, organizing activities such as Staff Appreciation Day or the Halloween Party, Union meeting announcements; general announcements; volunteer opportunities; and other things such as carpooling, items to sell or letting others know about having puppies to give away, for example.
