Summer Taco Fest Will Live On . . . and Arturo's Burgers Too

If you are worried that the immensely popular tacos at the Summer Grille will be gone for good as the semester rolls in, don't fret. Victoria's Kitchen is coming to The Commons. Victoria will be cooking up her traditional and authentic Mexican inspired fare with an expanded menu featuring burritos, enchiladas, taquitos and of course, your favorite tacos!

Another new addition to The Commons, is 'Turo's Corner. One of SSU's best, Arturo Guzman, is striving to create the most delicious burger in Sonoma County. He has been working all summer to perfect his recipe so plan to come to 'Turo's Corner in The Commons and let him know how he's doing.

As an added bonus, a free 16oz. fountain drink with the purchase of any burrito at Victoria's Kitchen or burger from 'Turo's Corner will be offered thru Sept. 1.

The Commons, the new home of Victoria's Kitchen and 'Turo's Corner, will be open from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.beginning Tuesday, August 22.

Employee and Departmental Discounts at Seawolf Shops and Barnes and Nobles Superstores

For the first time ever, Seawolf Shops will bring year-round employee discounts to Sonoma State University. All full-time faculty and staff will now receive a 10% discount on all purchases on campus. In addition, full-time faculty and staff will also receive 10% off purchases at all Barnes & Noble Superstore locations when they show their employee ID and save on items throughout the store.

Departments can also benefit as Seawolf Shops is offering a 20% discount on all authorized departmental business related purchases. Use the CCP card throughout the year.

If you haven't been by the store in a while, please stop by. It has a great new look and feel since spring semester. All the fall fashions have arrived so it's a great time to come down, use your discount and grab a new sweatshirt before the fall chill hits town.
