Elizabeth Burch, Communication Studies, took a professional leave to
pursue a Fulbright Scholarship Spring 2006 where she taught graduate
courses at the Caribbean Institute of Media and Communication, University
of the West Indies, and conducted research on Environmental Journalism in
Kingston, Jamaica. She discussed her experiences at a workshop in August
on “Careers Abroad” at the annual conference of the Association for
Education in Journalism and Mass Communication, San Francisco.
On Wednesday, Nov. 1, she will present her research findings and discuss the
Fulbright process at School of Arts and Humanities Forum.
