Honoring Our Distinguished Alumni
The Sonoma State University Alumni Association is recognizing the achievements of seven outstanding award recipients in four categories this year as part of an expanded recognition program for its 20th anniversary.
For the first time the Association is honoring community members as well as alumni who it feels deserve special recognition.
Highlights of the 2007 Distinguished Alumni Day on Oct. 11 include a luncheon with President Ruben Armiñana and visits to classrooms and campus centers. The day culminates with the Distinguished Alumni awards dinner.
The awards dinner includes a 5:30 p.m. reception and a 6:30 p.m. dinner at the Doubletree Hotel in Rohnert Park. The cost for the event is $50 for Alumni Association members, SSU faculty and staff and $60 for non-members.
Those who wish to attend should RSVP by Oct. 1 by calling (707) 664-2426. For further information, contact Alumni Director Kate McClintock, (707) 664-2693.
