Constitution Day Looks at Patriotism in Modern Times
Join a panel of scholars for a lively discussion on what it means to be civically engaged in these times. "Patriotism and Civic Engagement: Your Role in a Democratic Society" is the title of a Constitution Day event at noon on Sept. 19 in Schulz 3001 sponsored by the University Library. Panelists include Perry Marker, Moderator; Catherine Nelson, Political Science; Nathan Rank, Biology; Francisco Vazquez, Hutchins and TK Clarke, Business Administration

Brodsky, a librarian and educator at SSU since 1997, has been honored by
the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce with its Excellence in Education Award.
Nominator Suzanne Toczyski, an SSU French professor, said in a letter to
the Chamber: "Brodsky’s vision for library instruction at SSU
is at once fabulously far-reaching and yet also eminently practical.”
