Meeting Maker Upgrade is Coming!

On Oct. 3, Information Technology will migrate the campus to a new version of Meeting Maker - v8.6. The new version will allow you to use your Seawolf ID (aka LDAP ID) to log into Meeting Maker. You will no longer need to have a separate username and password for Meeting Maker.

As with past upgrades to Meeting Maker, we will be upgrading both the server software and the workstation software on each user's machine. The two upgrades must be done at the same time.

* If you are covered under Geoteam support, the new client will be installed for you the night before the cutover to the new server. This will happen automatically. Any additional instructions for Geoteam supported users will be provided by your consultant closer to the upgrade date.

* If you are not covered by Geoteam service and manage your own computer, you will need to download the new Meeting Maker client and install it before you will be able to access the new server. The download page will be available a week before the Meeting Maker upgrade. It is very important to download the client when you're ready but do not install the new client until Oct. 3. Otherwise, you will lose access to the old Meeting Maker server.

Additionally, there will be a much improved web based client for Meeting Maker.

The new URL for the web version of Meeting Maker will be:

https://mmweb.sonoma.edu:8443/mmwebclient/.

Please do not use this URL until Oct. 3 as anything scheduled in this prior to this datewill be lost during the migration.
