Celestial Music DVD Funds Music Student Scholarships

Professor Laxmi G. Tewari and the Music Department have released the only DVD available on the playing of Vichitra Vina. All the proceeds from the sale of this DVD goes toward establishing a trust fund for a scholarship in the name of Pandit Lalmani Misra for music students at Sonoma State University. Pandit Chote Lal Mishra accompanies the late Dr. Misra on tabla and Carolyn Tewari plays the tambura.

The DVD is available only through Sonoma State's Music Department. To receive a copy, send an address and a check for $20 made out to Laxmi G. Tewari in the Music Department. For further information, e-mail laxmi.tewari@sonoma.edu
