Haven't seen it from the inside out yet? "Tuesday Tours" of the Green Music Center continue until the inclement weather begins. To be part of one of the tours, contact Susan Kashack, susan.kashack@sonoma.edu or 4-2122. While most tours are on Tuesday afternoons, other days can be scheduled if there is ample interest.

Meetings to Outline
Next SSU Catalog Process

Production of the 2008-2010 SSU catalog has begun. Because many members of the University community are involved in the process of updating the book and because there will be some changes from the process used for the last catalog, two informational meetings have been scheduled. These meetings will provide general information about producing the catalog and will give an opportunity to ask questions.

The meetings are in the Sue Jameson Room, in Stevenson Hall, from 10-11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 3, and from 10-11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 5. Anyone interested is encouraged to attend. Sonoma Hillel Invites Campus to Sukkah

Sonoma Hillel, the organization supporting Jewish life on campus, invites staff, faculty and administrators to come and enjoy apples and honey in celebration of the New Year, 5768 in their Sukkah (booth) on the main quad from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 1. Darwin Lobby Dedicated


Fred GalbreathMembers of the SSU community and the family of Fred B. Galbreath gathered Sept. 26, below, to honor him during a ceremony that officially named the Fred B. Galbreath Lobby in Darwin Hall. Galbreath, who died in April 2000 at the age of 98, is shown at left on the 3,600-acre Galbreath Wildlands Preserve that he donated to the University in 2004. Dean Saeid Rahimi said the naming of the lobby shows appreciation for the gift that provides endless positive experiences for SSU students and faculty. During the ceremony, three of Galbreath's granddaughters shared memories about growing up on the ranch and their grandfather's legacy. Free Fitness Center for Staff and Faculty Open Daily

The Kinesiology Fitness Center is located in the gymnasium building room 6 and is open and free for faculty and staff from noon to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday.
