Alan Murray , Senior Director, Entrepreneurial Services (retired) was recently presented with the
National Association of College Auxiliary Services (NACAS)
Robert F. Newton Award for his lifetime of distinguished service to the Association and the profession of auxiliary services in higher education. While at SSU Murray also served as the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Sonoma State Enterprises, the corporation established in 1961 to provide support services to the university. He served as the NACAS national president, NACAS-West regional president, and was on numerous boards and committees in NACAS as well as other associations in higher education.
