Flu Shots Still Available
It is flu season, and the Centers for Disease Control is now encouraging flu vaccine for those wishing to decrease their risk of becoming ill with influenza or spreading it to others. Vaccine for the 06-07 season is now available at the Student Health Center while supplies last, says Georgia Schwartz, Director.
Prices for annual flu shots are the same as last year and serve to cover the cost of vaccine purchase: $15 for students and $25 for staff and faculty. Individuals may be seen on a drop-in staff and vaccine available basis before 10:30 a.m. most Monday-Thursday mornings and 9-11 a.m or 1:30-3:30 p.m. most Fridays.
