Decorate Doors and Cubicles by Dec. 10
It's time to showcase your department, the campus and your own decorating expertise in the Holiday Decoration Contest. Doors, offices and cubicles can be decorated in any version of the holiday theme. So that students as well as staff can enjoy the decorating, try to have the decorations up the week of Dec. 10 or earlier. Categories for judging are: Originality, Evokes Holiday Spirit, Department and SSU Integration, and Effort Involved. Please use only Scotch tape, no nails or tacks and make sure to remove all of the decorations, tape and all, soon after the holiday break.
The contest needs a panel of judges for Judgment Day which is December 17. To participate as a contestant or a judge, e-mail Mary Beth Hull, marybeth.hull@sonoma.edu, or phone 4-2368.

Goodbye Party for Kathy Anderson
Kathy Anderson, Manager of Employee Diversity and Compliance Service, has been at SSU since 2001 and is leaving to pursue an opportunity at CSU Monterey Bay. A reception in her honor will be held in the Administration and Finance Conference Room A from noon to 4 on Thursday, December 13.
School of Education Slates Credentials Ceremonies
The School of Education Credentials Ceremonies are in Evert B. Person Theatre at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 11 for the Single Subject and Special Education programs, and on Wednesday, December 12 for the Multiple Subject program. All credential candidates will receive a Certificate of Program completion. The student speakers include: Single Subject Program - Mallory Byrne; Special Education Program - Angela Mason; Multiple Subject Program -- Scott Blackney, Erin Bolton, Megan Fissel and Emmanuel Periclakes, and on behalf of the University Supervisors - Allen Guzman. Welcoming remarks will be made by Matthew Lopez-Phillips, acting Vice-President of Student Affairs, and Mary Gendernalik-Cooper, Dean of the School of Education.
