Join the 798 Who Have Given Blood
798. That is how many people gave blood at SSU last year, says JUMP coordinator Jeff Woods. Will you be one of them this year? JUMP and the Blood Bank of the Redwoods are hosting the first blood drive of the year on Tuesday, Jan. 30 from noon to 7 p.m. in the Rec Center. To participate, plan to complete a basic health form and answer a few health related questions asked by one of the nurses, show the appropriate identification and take a place in the donor chair. The actual time it takes to donate blood is about 15 minutes. The entire process takes about an hour. Stop by and donate or phone 545-1222, ext. 163 to make an appointment.
Free Films for Campus
Residential Life offers free films to faculty, staff and students at 9 p.m. in the Cooperage this semester. Scheduled this week are: Snakes on A Plane, Friday, Jan. 25 and Employee of the Month, Saturday, Jan. 26.
