Deck the Doors and Cubicles by Dec. 13

Categories for judging in the annual Holiday Door and Cubicle contest are: Originality, Evokes Holiday Spirit or Message, Effort Involved, and Integration of Department into the Display. The bookstore will provide a "mystery" prize for the winner of the contest. Dec. 17 is Judgment Day. Plan to have door decorations displayed the week of Dec. 13 or earlier. Holiday Mailing with No Lines!

The Zinfandel post office stands ready to help the campus community with its holiday mailing needs. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Mail pick-up is at 4:30 p.m. No credit or debit cards are accepted. Call John Griffith, 4-4263, for more information.

Ways to Give Around Campus

The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is collecting monetary contributions for the National Make-A-Wish Foundation in conjunction with the NCAA. All contributions can be sent to the Dept. of Athletics or dropped off at the Main Gym, PE Room 14. Bill Fusco, 4-2639.

The School of Social Sciences staff has adopted the Committee on the Shelterless in Petaluma to generate donations for the holiday season. Review the list of needs posted on the door of Nichols 220. Plan to drop off items by Friday, Dec. 17 at Nichols 220 or the School office at Stevenson 2078. Donations go to COTS on Dec. 18. Stephanie Wilkinson, 4-2544.

A Giving Tree can be found at the Seawolf Shops offered through the Volunteer Center of Sonoma County and KZST. Purchase a gift anywhere for recipients whose names are on hearts on the tree and bring it back to the bookstore with the heart sticker attached. Purchase the gift at the Seawolf Shops and they will gift wrap it. Gifts will be collected by the Volunteer Center for holiday delivery.
