SSU Hearts Keep Growing Too

Dear SSU Friends and Co-workers:

As you know, I have been away from the campus on sick leave due to a long-term respiratory infection. On my first day back on the job in mid-December it is truly great to see so many of you.

To all of you folks who donated your sick-time to me, I want to say thank you and I want to tell you how moved I am by your generosity. You came to my aid when I really need help and I appreciate all of you. As I think about SSU and some of it's fine qualities, standing at the top of the list are the employees and their willingness to take care of each other.   

Over the past twenty years I have seen this university grow in size, and the hearts of the employees have maintained their growth also. Thank you, all of you.
