Art professor Gregory Roberts is currently displaying his honeycomb ceramic works in a show called "Pollen-nation: a love story" at the Klaudia Marr Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico through Sept. 30. Roberts has been taking air and pollen samples from his backyard in San Francisco to a lab on the UC Berkeley campus and photographing them. Based on the photographs, he carved the individual pollens out of honeycomb ceramics which are an industrial product used to create a catalyst environment for molecular change.

The current issue of PARABOLA magazine includes an essay by Elizabeth Carothers Herron, Arts and Humanities. "Except By Light" addresses the question, "Body and Soul, Two or One," posed in the Fall issue. PARABOLA is available at Sawyers News, Whole Foods, and most good bookstores.
