Seawolf Shops Holiday Open House Features Author
Signings and Staff Artisan Show
With the holidays fast approaching, SSU's Seawolf Shops Holiday Open House has been scheduled for Nov. 15 to 17. This year's events will feature book signings by local authors, a staff artisan show, and of course, cookies and warm apple cider for all attendees.
The authors featured at this year's book signing include former Disabled Student Services employee Anthony Tussler, who will be autographing his book “How to Create Disability Access to Technology” on Tuesday, Nov. 15 from noon to 1 p.m. Also featured will be current SSU student and author Jill Thornton, who will be signing her book “Running Through Deserts” on Wednesday, Nov. 16, from noon to 1 p.m.
In addition to book signings, each day of the Holiday Open House includes a staff artisan show presenting artistic works from SSU staff members. Paintings, sketches, pottery and other works will be available for sale directlyfrom the artist.
As well as the Holiday Open House, Faculty and Staff Appreciation Sale Days at Seawolf Shops will run from Nov. 15 to 22. Regular and sale-priced merchandise will be 25% off for all faculty and staff. However, this excludes textbooks, computer hardware and software, movie tickets, and magazines.
