PROFESSIONAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Elizabeth C. Martínez, CALS and Modern Languages, participated in a session explaining grad school in the Arts & Humanities at the Forum for Diversity in Higher Education, an annual grad school job fair with workshops, sponsored by various university recruiters. The Forum was held this year at Sacramento State University, and experienced an unusually high turnout, bringing more than 1400 students to that campus. Martinez shared a panel with CSU professors from Stanislaus and San Luis Obispo, explaining the application process, how to survive and succeed in grad school, and what to expect afterward. Their panel was attended by some 60 students.
