All About Visitor Parking Permit Requests
Campus departments may request visitor permits for official University guests at no charge to the person or the department. Permits must be requested in writing at parking@sonoma.edu. Those eligible to receive permits include individuals invited in an official capacity to meet with departments on SSU or CSU business, prospective students participating in tours or events sponsored by the Admissions & Records Office, guest speakers, lecturers, performers, individuals appointed to boards, committees, or other official campus bodies, as long as the person is not a current student or employee of the campus, or vendors with contracts requiring regular service or delivery to the campus.
Documented campus volunteers may obtain complimentary parking passes by contacting Human Services or Faculty Affairs. Current and continuing students, employees of campus or auxiliaries, or participants in workshops, conferences or events for which a fee is being collected are NOT eligible for visitor parking permits. Visitor parking permits are valid in any non-reserved parking spaces and in any spaces specifically designated for University guests. For the full University Parking policy, go to http://www.sonoma.edu/uaffairs/policies/parking.html. Questions regarding visitor parking permits should be sent to Missy Wynes, Police and Parking Services, at wynes@sonoma.edu.
